WEDDING PHOTOJOURNALISM

I am a photojournalist, which means I tell a story with my camera. I approach weddings the same way. I try to capture the real moments and emotions of the day without intruding on those moments. Depending on the level of coverage you choose, I will shoot candids of getting dressed, the ceremony, the reception, telling details and informally posed pictures before or after the ceremony. I do not set up elaborate lighting and am not a traditional wedding photographer so you won't get the same slick, over-lit results you may be used to seeing. What you will get is the real story and emotions of your day.

All photographs will be shot in color but can also be converted to black and white (so that you will have both) for an extra fee. You will receive a CD with all the images from your event ready for you to print or share as much as you want. I will select the best of those images for special attention in the processing and they will be included on the disc.

PRICING: For a limited time I have special introductory pricing. I charge $500 for the first 3 hours of shooting and each hour after that is $100. This includes at no extra charge, the processing time after the event, other than the B&W fee. There is, however, an extra travel charge for events more than 30 miles away from the Albuquerque area. Contact me for specific details.

BLACK AND WHITE

Black and white photography lends itself nicely to the documentary look of Wedding Photojournalism. Without the distraction of color, the emphasis is placed on facial expressions, body language and composition. Some consider it to be a more artisitc form of photography.

NEW MEXICO WEDDING

Some settings are just meant for color photography. This location with its New Mexico sky, adobe, and color exudes a southwest gaiety. The photojournalism style of photography is perfectly suited to the informality of the wedding.
